Product Writer
The Product Writer is an AI tool that specializes in writing copy for products. Generate engaging, SEO-friendly product content with internal links that improve customer engagement. Clean up content. Build internal links using our context-aware AI. Or generate FAQ-structured data for your SEO.
How does the Product Writer work?
Open the Product Writer via SEO & Content > Product Writer. You will now see an overview of all your products. Search for and select a product, then click on 'Rewrite'.
A screen will now open displaying the current product information. Additionally, you can enter a prompt to indicate exactly what you want to change. Try out one of the suggested 'Quick prompts' to see what's possible.

Make the product description more appealing and persuasive, placing extra emphasis on the key features to increase conversion.
or:
Add a short FAQ section to the long HTML content and include valid schema.org FAQPage JSON-LD markup for those FAQs.

Next, click on 'Generate content'. The AI tool will get to work. You will then receive an overview of all suggested changes. Next, select the fields you want to update. Finally, click on 'Approve and update' to save the changes immediately. It's also possible to cancel and rewrite the prompt. The AI Tool does not make any changes to your shop until you explicitly give your approval.
Editing / rewriting products in batches
In addition to editing products one by one, it's also possible to run your own prompts in large batches. This is ideal if you want to have a large number of products written or rewritten using AI.
Please note: Batch edits are only available from the Growth subscription onwards.
Selecting products
You can select products by using the search function. The Batch function only works for the products in your current search query.
Starting a batch
Click on "Rewrite entire batch" in the top right corner to start the batch. First, you will see an overview of the product selection. You can also write your prompt directly, or select one of the example prompts. Click on 'Proceed to testing' to test your prompt on 1 product first.
Testing a batch
Once you have provided your prompt, it will first be tested on the first product in the selection. Click on 'Run test' to confirm this.
You will now see the result of your prompt. Review the result and select the fields you want to keep. Also look at the total estimated credits your prompt will cost. Then click on 'Approve and start task'.
Insufficient credits for my batch prompt
With large batch tasks, it might happen that your subscription does not have enough credits available. You can purchase a one-time credit top-up to carry out the task anyway. Of course, you can also reduce your product selection so you need fewer credits.
Can I undo my changes?
Once you have approved changes, it is not possible to reverse them. However, you can use our built-in backup tool to restore past data.
