Template Data

The Template Data tool uses AI to automatically fill in the correct template data (data fields, also known as data01, data02, etc.) of your products. These fields are often used to show extra, non-standard information on your product page through your theme.

How does setting template data work?​

Open the tool via Products and click 'Template data' next to the desired product.

A screen will now open where you provide Instructions for template data to the AI. Describe exactly what the AI should put in which field, and under which conditions. For example:

Set data01 to the main material when the product is textile. Leave the template data empty for all other products.

Next, click 'Generate template data'. The AI tool analyzes the product based on your instructions and suggests the values for the template fields. Review the proposal and confirm to apply the changes to the product.

Setting template data in bulk​

Do you want to fill in the template data for a large number of products at once? Use the bulk function for this.

Please note: Bulk functionality depends on your subscription type. You need at least a Growth plan.

Use the search function on the products page to select the desired products and start the bulk task. Just like with the other AI tools, a test is first run on 1 product, so you can check the settings before the full batch is processed.
