Blog

The blog page is the overview page where all your news posts or articles from a specific blog are collected. This is the perfect place to inspire, inform, and engage visitors with your brand.

You manage the display of the individual article cards in the general theme settings (under 'Article Cards'). With the settings on this specific page, you manage the layout of the overview, the header, and the optional sidebar.

General Layout & Design

  • Color schemes: You can split the colors for this page into two parts:
    • General color scheme: Determines the background and text color of the wide bar at the top of the page (the header).
    • Articles color scheme: Determines the background color of the individual article cards and the area of the sidebar.
  • Spacing (Whitespace): Adjust the margins (MB) and padding (PT, PB) to perfectly tailor the whitespace around the header section to your liking (choose between Default or None).
  • Articles per page: Determine the maximum number of blog articles shown before the visitor has to click to the next page (pagination). You can set this from 1 up to a maximum of 50 articles.

Header & Introduction

At the top of the page is a wide header that welcomes the visitor. In addition to the title and introduction, it also automatically shows how many articles this blog contains in total.

  • Title: By default, the name of your blog is shown here (e.g., "News" or "Inspiration"). You can overwrite this with your own text and adjust the font size, the HTML tag (H1 to H6), and the font weight.
  • Introduction: Write a short, engaging text that appears below the title to tell visitors what they can expect on this blog.

You can choose to show a handy sidebar next to your article overview. This helps visitors find interesting content more quickly.

  • Show sidebar (Sidebar): Check this to enable the sidebar.
  • Blog Tags (Categories): Check this to show a list of all tags you have added to your blog articles. This acts as a handy filter. You can give this block its own title (e.g., "Categories" or "Topics").
  • Search box: Add a search field that allows visitors to search specifically within your blog articles. Here too, you can determine the title above the search bar yourself (e.g., "Search in articles").
