Breadcrumbs

The Breadcrumbs section is a subtle but very important navigation element for your webshop. It shows visitors exactly where they are within the structure of your website (for example: Home > Women > Dresses). This makes it easy for visitors to take a step back and is also very good for your SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

Note: Because a breadcrumb trail shows the route from the homepage, this section is logically not available on the homepage itself or on the 404 error page.

General Layout & Design

Because this is a small and functional element, the settings have been kept very straightforward:

• Color scheme: Determine the background and text colors of the breadcrumb trail. Usually, you choose an inconspicuous scheme here (like the default background color of your store) so that it does not distract from your main content.
• Custom Class: A setting for advanced users and developers who want to further style the display of the breadcrumb trail to their liking with their own CSS code.
