Slider / Carrousel
The Slideshow section is the perfect way to display multiple major messages, promotions, or atmospheric images in one prominent location. This section supports both images and videos and is specifically designed for use on the Homepage.
General Layout & Format
You can present the slideshow in two ways, depending on the desired impact:
- Width (Width type):
- Full width: The slides fill the full width of the screen. You can set the height in pixels yourself for both Desktop (300px - 800px) and Mobile (150px - 700px).
- Box: The slideshow is placed within a frame. Here, you determine the shape based on an Image ratio, such as 16:9 or the extra-wide 8:3.
- Color scheme: Choose a general color scheme for the section and a specific scheme for the content on the slides (text and buttons).
- Spacing: Manage the margins and padding to ensure the slideshow connects seamlessly with other sections.
Slider Settings
- Autoplay: Check this to have the slides rotate automatically. You can set the delay yourself between 2 and 9 seconds.
- Loop: Ensure the slideshow restarts smoothly from the first slide after reaching the last one.
- Overlay: Add a dark transparent layer (0-70%) over the entire slideshow to improve text readability, regardless of the background.
Slide Content (Blocks)
You can add up to 5 image slides and 1 video slide. Each slide can be styled individually.
Image slide
- Images: Upload a landscape image for desktop and optionally a portrait image for mobile for the best results on every screen.
- Alignment: Determine whether the text on the slide should be positioned left, center, or right.
- Text: Add a title (Heading) and a subtitle. For both, you can adjust the visual size and the font weight (normal or bold).
- Buttons: Add up to two buttons per slide. You can determine the text, link, an optional icon, and the style (solid or outline) for each button.
Video slide
- Video: Upload a video file to serve as the background for this slide.
- Autoplay: Check this to have the video start playing immediately as soon as the slide comes into view.
- Overlay & Text: Just like with the image slides, you can place a title, subtitle, and buttons over your video with adjustable alignment and size.
Tip: Use short, powerful texts on your slides. Because a slideshow moves, visitors have limited time to absorb the information.
